The 2023 edition of Stuttgart’s ECLAT Festival was more than ever a festival of co-productions and inhouse creation. Among them was Samir Odeh-Tamimi’s world premiere of Philoktet, commissioned by Musik der Jahrhunderte, funded by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, and written for the Neue Vocalisten Stuttgart and the Zafraan Ensemble.

Universal Music Publishing Classical goes to Venice: 8 composers for 8 works published by Ricordi and Durand Salabert Eschig, including 1 world premiere and 5 Italian premieres.

July 2021 saw the world premiere of Samir Odeh-Tamimi's second opera L'Apocalypse Arabe in Arles, as part of a commission from the Festival International d'Art Lyrique d'Aix-en-Provence. The production united an international team led by conductor Ilan Volkov, the Ensemble Modern, and the director Pierre Audi, who has been the festival's artistic director since 2019.

In an act of Lockdown defiance, Ultraschall Berlin and ECLAT Festival Stuttgart are bringing concerts to radio and livestream – including world-premiers from Sergej Newski, Samir Odeh-Tamimi, and Enno Poppe.

This year’s ECLAT Festival presents the world premiere of Samir Odeh-Tamimi's new work Timna.

Samir Odeh-Tamimi’s Mansur will be premiered on July 26, 2014, at Salzburger Festpielen. The composition is based on the work of martyr and Sufi master Husain ibn Mansur Al-Hallağ.
